Antoi in Santorini

Antoi in Santorini

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Antoi, a world traveler and founder of Gozette Bespoke Travel.

Antoi was born to travel. From a young age her wanderlusting family made travel a priority. Traveling was a way to learn about the various wonders and cultures of the world. Antoi has been globetrotting for over 30 years and in 2011 she took a major leap opening up her own travel planning service, becoming a travel entrepreneur.

Wish they all could be California Girls

Based currently in Los Angeles, Antoi is a Southern California native. Daughter of a Fulbright Scholar, she grew up figure skating and majored in Apparel Management at University. During college she studied abroad  in France, which remains one her most beloved destinations to this day. France holds such a special place in her heart that she plans on retiring there. Antoi also has a serious jones for all things Greek. The Greek Islands, Greek food, and not to mention, the men. She fell in love with a Greek New Yorker and got married in Greece. OPA!

When you ask Antoi what type of traveler she is you can tell she appreciates the finer things in life. For lack of a better term, she is a hotel snob. (No shade – Self proclaimed hotel snob right here) A bad hotel experience would totally ruin her holiday, so Antoi considers it all, the service, the lobby, even the thread count of the sheets. She takes hoteling to a whole new level.

It’s no surprise that her love for travel and discerning taste extended into her business life. After planning trips for other for over 10 years she decided to start Gozette Bespoke Travel. What began as a passion blossomed into a full fledged business.

Neccesity is the mother of invention

Gozette Bespoke Travel was born out of frustration. Antoi recognized that there was not enough customization available to herself as a traveler, too many carbon copy itineraries and packaged tours. There needed to be a solution for the independent traveler seeking a unique experience that didnt have the time to plan everything out by themselves. LIGHTBULB! : Enter Antoi and her bespoke travel experiences. Antoi has designed holidays for the traveler seeking luxury, relaxation or adventure. Customers range from the husband fumbling thru planning his honeymoon or the elderly couple looking forward to a lifelong journey around the globe. For her clients there is no detail too minor or any request too extravagant, she is committed to making it happen.

If you are a DIY planner like myself and don’t need full holiday planning, Gozette offers access to a distinguised network of hotels  and resorts. With 800 propertis in over 430 cities the collection of hotels offers clients perks you normally wouldn’t get booking off the web yourself. Some of the benefits available are room upgrades, spa services, and airport transport.

Dreaming of travel - Where to next?

Working all across the globe

As a travel entrepreneur she has the ultimate flexibility,  Antoi can work anywhere as long as she has the internet and a fax machine. Expanding her horizons provides her with plenty of inspiration for future clients. Travel not only fuels her soul but makes her better at her job.

On her personal travel radar:

  • Gorilla trekking in Rwanda
  • Hike Kilimanjaro
  • Heli-ski on a glacier in New Zealand
  • Cruise the Amazon
  • Mingle with the Polar bears in the Arctic
  • Two step with Emperor penguins in Antarctica
  • Carnevale di Venezia

Was I the only one that had to google “heli-ski”? That looks nuts! I hope all my readers find Antoi as inspiring as I do. To do what you love while helping people’s travel dreams come true sounds like the perfect job.
